I have been an organizer and facilitator of various progressive political agendas and organizations since returning to SA in 1999. I've worked on voters rights, including secure and accurate voting mechanisms, ballot access for third parties and independent candidates, public financing of city council and mayoral campaigns, Global Warming issues like public transportation, water protection, the new and old dirty Deely coal plants. I've also worked for Fair Trade agreements and against Free Trade - NAFTA/CAFTA, etc.. I've marched and protested and exerted my first amendment rights consistently.
I have lived in SA most of my life - 19 of 33 yrs. I have also lived in CA, AZ, LA, NY, MA, WA, and Canada. My partner and I have been together over seven years. He and I have five animals, all rescued from being dumped at our old apt and, the most recent addition, in our neighborhood. All the cats have been spayed/neutered to keep the stray cat population down. My only house is in District One and we've lived in it for four years. When I was a kid I was in a Girl Scout Troup and went to school in District One.
